Joy Complex is proud to announce the first class on "How to Start and Run a Successful Shapeways Shop" at TechShop Pittsburgh!

The goal of this class is to provide students with enough understanding of the Shapeways platform so they can use it to make and refine 3D printed models that they can then market and sell via the Shapeways marketplace. Anything you learn will definitely be applicable to any other endeavors you have (for example selling your items on Etsy).

TechShop is a vibrant, creative community that provides access to tools, software and space. You can make virtually anything at TechShop. (Including ZeGo - the Swiss Ary Knife of 3d Printers - which was tested and is made at TechShop Pittsburgh!) 

Shapeways is the world's leading 3D Printing marketplace and community. With Shapeways, individuals can make, buy and sell their own products to people all over the world.

Both companies share a similar ethos -  empowering members of their communities by giving them access to technology they normally wouldn’t have access to. The results are the amazing art, products, and innovation that both companies make possible.

The germ for Joy Complex's success using Shapeways started with a Makerbot class at Techshop.
